T-Systems wanted to raise its profile in the smart metering arena in the UK (particularly with Government and the regulator). The company was competing in a market with some well established and respected players. A number of objectives were set.

Raise brand awareness of T-Systems and establish it as a credible voice in the smart grid and smart metering debate

Engage with Ofgem, DECC and other stakeholders in order to align the nature and scope of the solution design with the interests of T-Systems
- Provide support and assistance in crafting responses to the Ofgem Smart Meter Implementation Programme prospectus

Orion Innovations developed and managed a stakeholder plan to assist in raising the profile of T-Systems and to ensure that its offerings were understood and relevant to key parties:
Outcome
At the end of phase 1 of this project, T-Systems was widely recognised as a highly skilled player in the smart metering market, with engagement achieved with key stakeholders. The solution developed by T-Systems is widely respected in the market place.
